One surefire way to balance all the traits necessary for a successful business venture is to “partner up.” Find business partners who will balance you (and your new company) out. If you are a cautious, pessimistic type you should be seeking out an energetic, fearless partner who will constantly push you and your company forward. If you are excellent at brainstorming – but horrible at spreadsheets – find a meticulous partner to ground you a little bit.

Keeping your corporate personality balanced and stable is the best way to avoid self-destruction in a shaky economy. This balance will keep new customers flowing in and keep your existing customers happy and coming back for more.
