Good question! RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication; however, what does this mean in nonprofessional terms?
Think of the old days when you used to have your morning coffee and scan through the front page of the newspaper. Often you would see a headline burst followed by a couple of paragraphs and then the rest of the article would be located in the back pages.
Now that we are in a digital age, most blogs offer the option to a free RSS subscription allowing you to check your “front page” inbox for new articles and updates all on one screen. If you want to choose articles (blog posts) to read based on your chosen interests, you now have online convenience.
